Introduction

Randolf Shuffle is a simple yet effective activity to build gross-motor skills, in particular bilateral integration and coordination, balance, and laterality. The activity can be modified to also build coding abilities and language awareness.

We start by moving the arms in a regimented way (see videos and attached documents), which is usually quite simple for most clients. We then do the same with the legs. As the client masters these simple movements, we then pair one arm with one leg, then we make things more complicated by including both arms and both legs in sequence.

Start by reviewing the documents above and watching the videos. You will follow the documents in order from Phase 1 through Phase 3, then create your own sequences as described in these pages.
