Vision is central to human function and development, knowledge of and training in how to address visual functional concerns is therefore critical. Vision Mechanic is a growing library of notes, activities, and training elements for those working in rehabilitation and education. At Vision Mechanic, an array of resources can be found on vision, including continuing education opportunities.
Our team consists of an optometrist and vision rehabilitation occupational therapist who share information to make the vision-blind aware.

- Charles Boulet (BSc, BEd, OD):
Dr. Charles Boulet graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry, a leading visual rehabilitation college in Oregon, USA. He has since extended his knowledge through vision rehabilitation conferences and training through the College of Optometry in Vision Development, the Neuroscience-Optometric Rehabilitation Association. He also has participated in various medical specialty training programs, including scope of practice in his home province of Alberta where he has practiced since graduation…
- Robert Constantine (OTR/L): Robert Constantine graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham Occupational Therapy program where he was awarded the Charles Brooks Award for Creativity. He has practiced in home health, skilled nursing contexts, and spent nine years as the clinical specialist in brain injury at the West Florida Rehabilitation Institute where he developed a passion for evidence-based treatment, sharing information, and the functional effects of the visual system…
